V.K.Gupta has been involved in the restaurant & hospitality industry for the last twenty five years. Mr. Gupta armed with a graduation from National Council of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, embarked on a career in the Hotel Industry as Maitre D’hotel at The Amir Hotel, Panchgani, Maharashtra. His penchant for teaching blossomed during his tenure as Maitre D’hotel which led him to Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition at Gwalior as a Lecturer. He further started the Trade Wings Institute of Hotel Management, Gwalior which met with a resounding success.
He then moved over to the city of Hyderabad in 1995 as Principal of J.B. College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. Mr. Gupta understanding the huge requirements for quality manpower took a great stride in the year 1997 and opened a full fledged College “Greenfields College of Catering & Hotel Management” in Hyderabad, under the affiliation of Osmania University. His efforts in revitalizing the teaching standards got further strengthened with a certification in 1998 by American Hotel & Motel Association as a Certified Hospitality Educator.
Mr. Gupta understanding the huge potential of the Tourism & Hospitality Industry carried his vision further by helping initiate Hotel Operation studies from the Intermediate level onwards with the support of Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education. An intermediate college in this regard was established in the year 2003. Mr. Gupta is a distinguished panel member of the Syllabus formation committees of both, the Osmania University as well as the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education.
He has done eon services for the hospitality industry and else wise in the capacity of President (Lions Club) and as Treasurer (Agarwal Samaj). He is proficient in areas of economics, culinary arts and management subjects. He has delivered numerous lectures in the above said areas at various institutions like NISSIET, Lions Club, Agarwal Samaj, etc. He has also been instrumental in conceptualizing, designing and beginning the operations for resorts located at Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh and restaurants in Hyderabad.

Mr. Salil is a graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, (Goa) and holds a Masters in Tourism Management from IGNOU (New Delhi). He began in the industry as an Assistant Manager with Hotel Bismarck, Goa. Here he gained valuable experience dealing with the intrinsic operations of managing a large city hotel. His management & operational skills were put to maximum exposure with his stint at Resorts Condominiums International at Peddar Road, Mumbai. It was this opportunity that solidified his career in the hospitality industry. His love for travel, meeting new people and training as a T.O Manager took him to various corners of India & Nepal.
Always on the lookout for better opportunities, Mr. Salil moved to Hotel Mandovi (Goa) as Maitre D’hotel at the Riveria Riverside. Here he mastered the art of event management by taking charge of organizing various cultural and business events. He advanced into the field of teaching & training at Guardian Angel Institute of Hotel Management, Goa where he coached & mentored students for nearly six years in the capacity of Lecturer.
Drawing on his several years of Hotel & Teaching experience, Mr. Salil found a worthwhile position as Vice Principal at Greenfields College of Catering & Hotel Management (Hyderabad). He was the chief architect in ensuring that this institute secure and maintain the ISO 9001:2000 certification by AQA LLC USA. Mr. Salil believes nothing is more important or comparable in sharing knowledge & imparting skills with upcoming hoteliers. He has developed & delivered workshops at Nuclear Fuel Complex, Amogh Group of Hotels, Small Industries Service Institute, NISSIET, etc on various topics.
He is an Executive Member of Association of Catering Professionals & Trainers Forum in good standing and also devotes his time to art modeling & painting.
. Ms Mona BakshiH.O.D. - Accommodation Operations
Ms. Mona Bakshi brings more than two decades of international hospitality experience to Greenfields. A graduate from the IHM Pusa batch of 1975, Ms. Bakshi launched her hospitality career in House Keeping operations as a Management Trainee at the Oberois Delhi. After successful completion of the program she was absorbed as Assistant House Keeper at Hotel Siddhartha Continental. Ms. Bakshi embarked on an international career which saw her escalating to the position of Executive House Keeper. Her professional services always produced proactive results in properties like Hotel Mahran (Karachi, Pakistan), Hotel Bristol (Manama, Bahrain), and Hotel Tylos Hilton (Manama, Bahrain). On relocating back to India she continued her stint at Hotel Asia The Dawn (Jammu Tawi), Kufri Holiday Resorts (Jammu Tawi), Hotel Man Singh (Jaipur), Dalmia Resorts International (Goa), Hotel Golkonda (Hyderabad), and Hotel Amrutha Castle Best Western (Hyderabad).
During her career, the most enjoyable aspect was always designing, developing and revamping the House Keeping operations to escalate the aesthetic & functional aspects of the hotel environment. Today, apart from being a distinguished faculty at Greenfields, Ms. Bakshi also devotes her time as a consultant to numerous organizations throughout Hyderabad & India. Her knowledge of communicating in 5 languages including Arabic, and her affinity to Teaching, Training & the trade helps facilitate a pleasant and productive learning environment
Mr. E.T.Vivek King H.O.D. - F & B Service/ Training & Placement Officer
E.T. Vivek King holds a graduation from Asan Memorial Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management & Tourism from VMRF Deemed University. He has held many responsible positions in organizations like Secunderabad Club, Hotel Surya Palace, Oil & Natural Gas Commission, Radhakrishna Hospitality Services and Hotel Viceroy (Now Marriott International).
His expertise in the field of Food & Beverage service stems not only from his job descriptions & responsibilities at various organizations but also from his innate ability to excel as Event Manager with increased focus on service quality. During his tenure in the Hospitality industry, he has conducted many researches and analysis on improving the business operations.
Mr. King turned his attention to academics after a 16 year management career. He started off with Blooms College of Hotel Management, Hyderabad and now with the Greenfields College of Catering & Hotel Management. He is well qualified and equipped in all spheres to teach students about the inner workings of food service operations. Mr. King combines his extensive Food & Beverage knowledge with his restaurant & banquet management experience to conduct highly interesting and informative classes and workshops. In addition he also instructs students on the operation of the Point of Sales systems, which is an integral skill in any hotel operations.
With his extensive knowledge of hotel operations, management and hotel work experience, Mr. King has developed the most fruitful contacts with the best of class hotels throughout India to provide meaningful & exciting practicum training and job opportunities
In addition to his employment at Greenfields College of Catering & Hotel Management, Mr. King devotes his time in theatre and visual arts. He is also an active member & participant of various religious and societal forums committed to strengthening & building the standards of society at all levels
